Ignorance and I: A Note in Self-Reflection
"Know thy own ignorance, for doing so is to take the first step on the path of enlightenment." I know my own ignorance, and I believe that it is something that I should share with the populace of this site, lest they misunderstand my ways and thought-processes, and take offence. However, the secondary purpose of this piece is to have it expressed down in writing so that I do not misunderstand myself. I believe that learning about oneself is life-long university course - here is today's lecture. I must preface my explanation with a disclaimer that I accept everyone for their sexuality or gender identity - because, really, it is none of my business what feels natural to people. If it harms none, then it is all good. See my posts on LGBT+ acceptance. I must confess that, as an autistic person, I have always seen the world in a very contrasting way - 'black and white', as the phrase goes. Uncertainty unsettles me greatly. Thus, I have always been quite comfortable with the ideas of

Given the popularity of my previous Rate My Review (RMR #1), I have decided to make it a series. I hope that you enjoy reading it as much I as enjoyed writing it when critiquing various pieces of artwork. Please, check out the raichmann if you haven't already! If you think you would be good at critiquing, check out ProjectComment! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- THE REVIEW ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Link to 'Aaaaadriaaannn!' by raichmann. This was the one piece of art in this weeks’ edition of the Weekly Commenting Project that drew me in at first glance, and inspired me to write a critique of. "Hello, I found your project via the Weekly Commenting Project of ProjectComment | DeviantArt This piece invoked a wide range of emotions within myself while I read it. My first impression of this piece came from its title – ‘Changeling Child’. Its immediate use as the title of the piece, and its repetition at the start of every stanza marks it out clearly as an important subject to the author, and the use of alliteration in combining two opposite features – the sinister concept of a ‘changeling’ contrasting with the innocent concept of what a ‘child’ is perceived to be – made me long to start reading the poem. The opening line of each stanza allows the piece to keep its focus, which I perceive as being one that is negative: branding the child a ‘little thief’ and a ‘silly bird’ is combined with listing their past actions such as ‘pushing lies’ while instructing for the future to ‘pay your debts’ and to ‘listen now’ made me interpret the author

A Curse For Someone You Hate
* Have the person you want to curse in mind. Use a photo if it helps.
*Contemplate on your anger and the wrongdoings the person has done to you.
*Light a black candle and angrily speak the words, "I call on you gods of wrath, listen to my hate-filled plea. Bring your rage to (individual's name) life and curse him/her full of misery."
*Imagine the person burning. If you have a photo, burn the image in the flame of the black candle.
*Chant, "As I say, may it be done," three times.
*Extinguish the candle.

A Spell For Blessing Your Tools
* Gather your tools in front of you. Make sure you're sitting where the moonlight can shine onto you and your tools. (Sometimes performing this spell outside is a better option.)
* Pick each tool up individually and hold it against your heart, saying, "Gods and goddesses of the night, lend me your power. Lend me your might. Help my abilities expand and grow so that one day the world will know the things I can do with the tools of my trade. Please keep to the pact you and I now have made."
* Shine your tools with a soft, white cloth and leave them to bathe in moonlight overnight.
*Immediately get in bed and contemplate your dreams and the t

A Healing Spell for Someone You Care About
* Hold an amethyst in your non-dominant hand and outstretch your dominant hand toward the person in need of healing. If the person allows it, place your hand on them for increased effect, particularly on the area afflicted. 1) No matter how many times it's necessary, argue. Every time they vent about how hideous, worthless, or moronic they think they are, fight it. Day in and day out, no matter how much they don't believe you, they still want to hear it. They need it, but they won't ask for it.
Maybe once and a while you don't want to start a full on debate. Simply tell them, if they don't tell you, that you don't want to fight again. Just tell them they already know you think they are amazing and move on to talk about more pleasant things.

Lower Manhattan, New York
Over the course of 5 years, WCBS Newsradio 880 had been receiving anonymous letters from a person living in Midtown. The letters, not signed with their name, tells supposedly of their life from birth to the present day. They all were written cleanly and without grammatical errors. However, staff figured that the person behind the letters had been corrected many times to cover up something. As they read more that came in, they learned the dark secret the person behind the letters had.
On the night of January 14th, 1995, American author, Paul Auster, was brought in by CBS to read the letters in the form of a story
